Emergency Lighting

Emergency Lighting bannerOften overlooked, emergency lighting can prove life saving in a power failure situation.
It is there to light the escape routes and final means of exit.
Whether bespoke or part of the main lighting system, emergency lighting charges its batteries from the mains and must operate for a designated time period in the event of power failure.
Many buildings have emergency lighting installed but the system has not been regularly maintained. Batteries and tubes do not last forever! It is an essential part of fire protection and it is also a legal requirement to ensure it is fully operational.
County Fire Services Ltd design, install and maintain emergency lighting systems in accordance with BS5266.
