FIRE SAFETY AND EXTINGUISHER WORKSHOP
This workshop has been designed to reduce the risk of fire through the promotion of basic fire safety for all staff and provide the staff with the knowledge of what action to take in the event of a fire inclusive of the safe use of extinguishers.
Workshop content:
- Fire Safety Law
- Means of Escape and Fire Precautions
- Actions to be taken in the event of a fire
- Evacuation procedure
- Classification of Fire
- The Fire Triangle
- Extinguishers (theoretical plus practical use)
A course certificate will be issued to the employer and each delegate will receive an attendance certificate.
FIRE MARSHALL / WARDEN TRAINING SAFETY TRAINING WORKSHOP
We are an approved healthcare training centre and can deliver healthcare fire safety training at your workplace.
This fire marshal/ warden training workshop is designed to give fire marshal/ wardens with an understanding of the importance of fire safety and their duties so that they are able to act in a competent manner in the event of a fire.
Topics covered on this workshop are:
- Fire safety law
- The duties of a fire marshal/warden
- Means of escape and fire precautions
- Actions to be taken in the event of a fire
- Evacuation procedure
- Classification of fire
- The fire triangle
- Extinguishers – theoretical plus practical use with or without live fire.
This workshop is approximately 3 hours long with a mid-workshop break of 15 minutes, is interactive with group work and is held at your workplace for a maximum of 15 delegates.
